She discussed how she infuses comedy into her shows, including accidents from the regions where her recipes come from, and how having a multicultural background has influenced both her cooking style and humor. Jackie Miao (a.k.a Dining Happy) is a multicultural fusion chef, social entrepreneur, and social content producer.

Blogging and webcam-ing since 1998, Jackie is considered vintage matter in Internet years, and is arguably one of the first bloggers to come out of Malaysia. Today, she teaches people how to cook the world on a table on Periscope and Snapchat. She is currently the #1 Snapchatter in the entertainment category on Ghostcodes, and has also been #1 in the Foodies, Comedian, and Viral Stars categories.

Jackie’s likeness has been seen all over the world in more than 30 known major media outlets, including the BBC, Discovery, NatGeoTV, Guardian, and the New York Times. In 2008, she was chosen out of 36,000 people to be a Top 50 finalist in the “Best Job in the World” competition.

With a strong entrepreneurial background in hospitality, travel operation, restaurant services, web development and digital consulting, Jackie is taking her experience and channeling into her role as Managing Owner of Leisurer, LLC, a social content production company in Seattle, WA.
